Hot salmon toast

A great idea for a filling breakfast or lunch – hot salmon toasts with parsley, dill and spring onions. Attractive bright colours of salmon and herbs on a plate and excellent flavour are guaranteed, and it only takes minimum efforts to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 glass milk
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped dill
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of milled black pepper
  • 100 g VIČI cold smoked salmon fillet
  • 4 slices dark bread
  • 1 bunch spring onions
  • Butter for frying

Preparation

Beat the eggs with milk, chopped parsley, dill, milled black pepper and salt until a smooth mass.

Dip the slices of bread into the mixture and hold for several minutes to absorb it.

Melt some butter in a pan. Place the bread dipped in the egg mixture on the pan. Fry on medium fire for several minutes until golden brown. Turn over the slices and fry for a few more minutes.

Place the fried bread slices on a plate. Serve with salmon and Greek yogurt topped with chopped spring onions and parsley.
